What a great, authentic restaurant. Really loved what they served there. We were not staying in Le Bugue but went to the restaurant 3 times in 8 days and had their formula du midi. What a bargain and excellent too.

Rustic French onion soup with wonderful depth and proper cheese. The main course was far better than I expected from the description on the menu. Dessert was a beautifully presented crepe stuffed with fried ripe banana and a rich chocolate sauce. 250ml Red wine and a coffee. Just over €20! I want to add another star!!
Formule du midi for less than €15. The steak was really tender which is rare for a cheap steak in France. Friendly, inexpensive, great food and clean toilets!- Service

This is a beautiful authentic french restaurant in the heart of gorgeous Le Bugue. The menu is simple and SO delicious. Desserts included! The hostess was so warm and welcoming. We can't recommend this restaurant enough. We shared a fabulous meal as a family and are so grateful for the memories created. Wishing the owners every good wish for the future!!

First place we ate (takeaway) after the lock down ended in May. We returned to eat on the terrace mid September. The place is unassuming so let it fool you. The food is outstanding. Best value is their plat du jour. Their pizza is thin crust and tasty. And we had the best burger "American" that we've tasted in all the Dordogne. Topped off with super friendly owners.

Fantastic authentic french experience, great food, super friendly staff/ owners and extremely accommodating to the kids. Will definitely be taking a return visit before we leave. Don't miss out.

Delicious food, good quality and price, and most important: very good service from te staff compared to other restaurants in Le Bugue. They made a special starter for us that wasn’t on the menu. We will definately come back when we are in Le Bugue

Excellent food and reasonably priced. Staff attentive and some English spoken. Nice evening and will definitely go again.

De passage pour les vacances, nous avons décidé de manger a cette établissement qui est top. Tres agréable,tres bien conseillé pour les spécialités, top . Tres agréable également avec les enfants. Toilette... Tres propre jamais vue un établissement aussi cline, tres bon plat... Merci a vous les nordistes.
